And the face texture although very well done is a litle flawless from this close and it starting looking fake. The area of the front bone and nose is too soft. (not that I can do better - is that is just easier to see than to do....)
Appart from the comments above I think we should learn better how the subsurface scattering works on human skin. Poser and DAZ have some approachs but they are not satisfactory for all illumination setups. Even C4D and Maxwell solutions (that are much better) dont responds everytime as well as we should expect. I keep trying.
I started a club for people interested in 3D photorealism, but it turned more on a Poser-nude display (that dont disguise me at all but could be deeper in the matter). If you can contribute with some photo real images, tutorials, or even journal discussions they are welcome.
